胡佳来 Mr. Hu Jialai
个人简介 16岁随父亲学习提琴制作，后进入上海音乐学院提琴工作室进修师从华天礽。20多年来着重于仿古提琴的制作，期间随美国制琴师Patrick Henry更深入的研究学习提琴油漆以及修复。曾多次参加国内外提琴制作比赛，2015年参加意大利PISOGNE仿古提琴制作比赛获得小提琴金奖。
Mr. Hu Jialai was born in Suzhou, China in 1977 and started violin making in 1993 at the age of 16 in his father's workshop. His first teacher was my father who had worked in a violin factory for over 40 years. From 1997-1998 he continued to study violin making at Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the guidance of his teachers, Mr. Hua Tianreng. Then he returned to work in his father's workshop. In the year 2000 he met an American violin maker, Patrick Henry, who trained in the shop of Mr. James Wimmer in Santa Barbara, California. He and Mr. Henry worked together at a workshop in Suzhou China for about two years and he has learned many new things from Mr. Henry concerning varnish, antique varnishing, and advanced set up.
