个人简介 美籍华裔吉他演奏家、作曲家、教育家，中国首位在剧院级场馆举办个人作品音乐会的爵士吉他音乐家。他的个人编曲及其主领的中国顶尖爵士放克大乐队“红节奏The Red Groove Project”专辑制作曾数次获台湾金曲奖多项提名。其现代爵士音乐企划“顾忠山三重奏The Lawrence Ku Trio”专辑《Pictures》荣获华语音乐传媒大奖“最佳器乐专辑”。与来自世界各地的杰出音乐家都有过合作，包括Dee Dee Bridgewater、Laura Fygi、顺子、莫文蔚、李荣浩、陈楚生等。现担任上海JZ School校长，为爵士乐在中国的普及和推广做着不懈努力。 |

| As a Chinese American Guitarist, composer and educator, Lawrence Ku is the first jazz guitarist to hold his solo concert in a theatre hall. His composes and albums of The Red Groove Project, a Chinese top jazz funk band in which he plays a leading role, have been nominated several awards by Taiwan Golden Melody Awards. The album “Pictures” of the Lawrence Ku Trio was awarded the Best Instrumental Music Album by Chinese Music Media Awards. Musicians and singers that he performed with include Dee Dee Bridgewater, Laura Fygi, Shunza, Karen Mok, Youngho Lee and Chusheng Chen. He is now the president of JZ School, devoting himself to popularizing Jazz music in China. | |
